The General Administration of Customs of China has recently issued an announcement allowing the formal import of Indonesian Tabasheer into China, opening up extensive market opportunities for Indonesian businesses. According to the announcement's requirements, Indonesian Tabasheer processing enterprises need to complete the following compliance procedures before exporting to China:
1. Registration Application: Tabasheer processing enterprises intending to export to China must undergo an audit and filing process with the Agriculture Quarantine Bureau of the Republic of Indonesia and obtain registration approval from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China. Once the approval is granted, it will be publicly announced on the official website. Only with this approval can Tabasheer be exported to China.
2. Production and Processing Requirements: The entire production and processing of the product must be carried out under the supervision of the relevant Indonesian authorities. Establishing quality management and traceability systems and implementing effective measures to control disease and pest contamination are necessary.
3. Packaging and Transportation Requirements: Product packaging must be clean and sanitary, with relevant product and enterprise information labeled. If wooden packaging materials are used, they must conform to the ISPM15 standard. Transportation requires the use of sealed containers with proper sealing.
4. Pre-Export Inspection and Quarantine: Each batch of products must undergo sampling inspections to ensure compliance with China's phytosanitary and traditional Chinese medicine standards. Non-compliant batches are not allowed for export.
5. Phytosanitary Certificate: Qualified products must obtain a phytosanitary certificate issued by the relevant Indonesian government department for import declaration purposes.
Additionally, after the products arrive in China, they will be subject to inspection, quarantine, and label verification by Chinese customs.
